A virtual journey through time

The increasing use of Smartphones and Tablets is slowly but surely becoming palpable in the cultural tourism sector too, and is also increasingly gaining in significance for Kufstein Fortress. As a result, an audio guide app has been designed and developed in conjunction with the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein, which more than meets these trends and requirements. Visitors now have the opportunity to use their own Smartphone as an audio guide. The ‘Festung audio app’ provides various, theme-specific audio tours in different languages, along with a GPS-based treasure hunt for children and youngsters. Other functions also provide in-depth background information about Kufstein’s landmark.
