Kufstein Fortress has, for over 800 years, always been a place visited by many different people. However, in the first few centuries it was hostile armies who sought to conquer the fortress. These days, the impressive landmark is very popular with people from across the globe.

The visitors’ centre also has a well-stocked fortress shop. As well as classic souvenirs, books and little gift ideas there is a selective range of fortress products from the fortress’ own collection, as well as a fortress beer, herbal teas and fortress coins. Of course, for all little knights and princesses there is suitable garb and weaponry. The fortress shop is open during standard fortress opening times.
